The Holdwell crisis flow runs around the clock. GamCare and Samaritans on the front screen. Anna in the chat. A real human reviewer paged inside an hour. Every escalation is visible to you, never logged in silence.
GamCare runs the UK gambling-specific helpline (0808 8020 133, free, 24/7). Samaritans (116 123) covers self-harm and suicidality. Both partners are funded, clinically supervised, and follow NHS England guidance for crisis triage. We do not run a competing line. We route to the right one.
If you'd rather not call, both partners take text and webchat. The screen offers whichever channel you've used before by default.
Most apps hand you a phone number and end the session. Anna stays in the chat while the line rings. If the call drops, she's still there. If the call goes well, she helps you write a small plan for tomorrow morning before bed.
The chat is private. Sponsors see "Anna check-in" in their weekly digest. They never see what was discussed.
Every crisis event pages an on-call L2 clinical reviewer at Holdwell. They review what triggered the path, what Anna saw, and what the user did next. The review queues for under sixty minutes. If something needs immediate follow-up, the reviewer calls you on the verified phone on file.
You see the page in your activity log. You see when it was reviewed and what they decided. Transparency is the rule, not silence.
